HIGHLAND DANCE SECTION
FULL TURN SWORD DANCE, HANDS HELD ALOFT AND TURNED INWARDS,
ELBOWS BENT,(KILTS OPTIONAL)
1-3 Step forward on left, point right toe forward, hook right
foot in front of left knee with toe pointed down and at the same
time pivot 1/4 turn left on ball of right
4 Step down on right foot
5-6 Point left toe forward, hook left foot in front of right
knee with toe pointed down and at the same time pivot 1/4 turn
left on ball of left
7-9 Repeat 1-3 on left foot
10-12 Repeat 4-6 on right foot (you have now completed a full
turn left)
CHA-CHA SECTION
