Counts Step Descriptions
16 COUNT INTRODUCTION TO THE RIGHT SIDE:
/Start with feet slightly together, the introduction is to right
and left back corners
1-3 Step to right side to rock to right, left, right sides
4&5 Left cha-cha diagonally back to right rear corner
6-7-8&9 Rock right back foot, rock left forward foot, right
kickball change (kick right foot, step down on right foot,
change weight to left foot)
10-12 Rock right back foot, touch left heel forward, step down
onto left foot
13-16 Step right foot forward diagonally past left foot, slide
left foot forward, slide right foot forward, touch left toe
beside right foot
16 COUNT INTRODUCTION TO THE LEFT SIDE:
1-3 Step to left side to rock to left, right, left sides
4&5 Right cha-cha diagonally back to left rear corner
6-7-8&9 Rock left back foot, rock right forward foot, left
kickball change (kick left foot, step down on left foot, change
weight to right foot)
10-12 Rock left back foot, touch right heel forward, step down
onto right foot
13-16 Step left foot forward diagonally past right foot, slide
right foot forward, slide left foot forward, touch right toe
beside left foot
STEP, PAUSE, ROCK AND ROCK 1/2 TRIPLE TURN, ROCK 3/4 TRIPLE TURN
1-4 Step to right side, pause, rock left back foot, rock right
forward foot
5-8 Step to left side, pause, rock right back foot, rock left
forward foot
9-10-11&12 Rock right forward foot, rock left back foot, right
cha-cha half turn to right rear (without traveling so much on
the cha-cha step- i call this a triple step)
13-16 Rock left forward foot, rock right back foot, left cha-cha
3/4 turn to left rear- this will take you to wall 4- again,
don't travel forward on the turn)
STEP SLIDE TO SIDE AND HALF TURN ROCK STEPS TO RIGHT, AND REPEAT
1-4 Step right foot to right side, slide left foot to right
foot, step right foot to right side, slide left foot to right
foot- put weight on left foot
5-8 Step right 1/4 turn to right side(to the right), step left
foot to right to continue another 1/4 turn, rock back onto right
foot and left forward foot
9-12 Step right foot to right side, slide left foot to right
foot, step right foot to right side, slide left foot to right
foot- put weight on left foot
13-16 Step right 1/4 turn to right side(to the right), step left
foot to right to continue another 1/4 turn, rock back onto right
foot and left forward foot
STRUT STEPS AND ROCK CHA-CHAS
1-4 Right toe to heel struts to right side, cross left over in
front of right foot and left toe to heel strut to right side
5-8 Rock back onto right foot and left forward foot, right
cha-cha in place using the rocking stance you created
9-10-11&12 Left toe to heel strut to left side, cross right over
left and right toe heel strut to left side
13-14-15&16 Rock back onto left foot and right forward foot,
left cha-cha in place using the rocking stance you created
REPEAT
